Local police investigation showed five armed men wearing bonnets suddenly barged in his house at around 10 p.m. when the victim opened the door due to the incessant barking of his dog.
One of them aimed his handgun at Jose while the victim’s live-in partner, Norma Empleo, and grandson, John Carlo Calibuyot, were roused from their sleep.
A suspect dragged Norma inside the victim’s room and asked for the money. The suspects then fled with cash amounting to P200,000.
