Police Regional Office-Cordillera director Police Brig. Gen. Ronald Oliver Lee said the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Crime Laboratory Service is still examining the other two suspected hijackers killed in the encounter. Lee said the suspect who was wearing a PNP athletic T-shirt, camouflage green pants, and black leather shoes was identified by his mother as her son David Dassala Rapal Jr., 40, of San Fernando City, Pampanga. According to his mother, he was fetched by a man identified as Ryan Pangilinan at their residence in San Fernando City at about 11:30 a.m. on June 28 and never returned home since then.
