O2 shop in Bury St Edmunds Buttermarket – Image Google Police were called at approximately 2:15 am this morning, Thursday 29 April, by CCTV operators who spotted three men with hammers breaking into the shop. On arrival, all three men fled the scene with stolen property. After a short chase involving officers from multiple teams, including the dog unit. Two males, an 18-year-old man from Ipswich and a 14-year-old boy from Leeds were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they remain.
