The former MP came down heavily on Rudy for not utilising the ambulanceds when COVID patients are dying for want of emergency services. People are paying as much as Rs 12,000 to ferry COVID patients to hospitals even though the hospital may be just 1 km away. There is an acute shortage of ambulances and the Saran MP has kept about 100 ambulances.
Former Madhepura MP and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav raided a place where over two dozen Ambulances purchased from the fund of Saran Lok Sabha member Rajiv Pratap Rudy were parked triggering a controversy.

New Delhi [India], April 29 (ANI): Two people were arrested here on Thursday for allegedly cheating a woman by selling her a fire extinguisher instead of an oxygen cylinder which she required for her COVID-19 positive relative, police said.
The two were arrested from west Delhi s Uttam Nagar area.
At a time when the country is witnessing surge in COVID-19 cases, the demand for oxygen has subsequently increased.
The arrest was made by a joint team of special staff of the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and Uttam Nagar Police, informed Deputy Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Meena.

The gang s actions came to light when a bookbinder informed the police that he had received several bundles of receipts meant to raise funds of the temple construction for binding, said Bulandshahr s Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh.
