Police in Plano, Texas are investigating a series of incidents in which a Black student was horrendously beaten, verbally abused and forced to drink urine.

SeMarion Humphrey, detailed the string of incidents in a lengthy Facebook post. Imagine being a happy kid who loves making people smile and having a good time. Imagine your classmates and football team members turning on you and targeting you, she wrote. Imagine a group of those same football team members attacking you in the locker-room with a belt. Imagine being hit in the private area and when you tell an adult you are told boys will be boys.

Police in Plano, Texas have arrested a man in connection with a 10-year-old sexual assault case. According to
ABC affiliate, the arrest could lead to further answers in a series of rape cases which targeted Black alums of Delta Sigma Theta.
Jefferey Lemor Wheat, 48, was arrested in Crawford County, Arkansas on a felony warrant and was later picked up by Arkansas police before being transferred back to Texas where he is currently held on a $500,000 bond at Collin County Detention Center.
‘Christmas Cops’ helping hundreds of Plano families this year with toys, food, donations
More than 100 businesses and organizations in Plano have donated to the cause.
Volunteers, businesses, residents and organizers have joined together to help more than 350 families in need through the Plano Police Association Christmas Cops program this year.
“This is just one more way our community comes together in times of need. We are thankful to each and every one of you,” the Plano Police Department wrote on its Facebook page.
Toys and donations were collected from more than 100 businesses and organizations in Plano. Texas Collision Centers donated a total of $15,000 to the cause. A detailed listing of other donors appears on the Christmas Cops’ Facebook page.
