‘Christmas Cops’ helping hundreds of Plano families this year with toys, food, donations
More than 100 businesses and organizations in Plano have donated to the cause.
Volunteers, businesses, residents and organizers have joined together to help more than 350 families in need through the Plano Police Association Christmas Cops program this year.
“This is just one more way our community comes together in times of need. We are thankful to each and every one of you,” the Plano Police Department wrote on its Facebook page.
Toys and donations were collected from more than 100 businesses and organizations in Plano. Texas Collision Centers donated a total of $15,000 to the cause. A detailed listing of other donors appears on the Christmas Cops’ Facebook page.
