“It was surreal. Your eyes know what they are seeing, but my brain was like, ‘Was that really a bear?’” said Wendy Choban, who lives in northeast London’s Northridge neighbourhood.
“It was running. It looked scared.”
She was driving her daughter to work at about 7:30 a.m. when she saw the bear, running from tennis courts in that area toward the forest.
