May 11, 2021 Gordon Eugene Yetter, 84, of Loyalsock, passed away at Embassy of Loyalsock Nursing home following a courageous battle with ALS. He was born in Lewistown on March 1, 1937 and was the son of the late Clarence D. and Elba M. (Mattern) Yetter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ezra, William, Gary, David and Paul Yetter. Gordon is survived by his wife, Nancy C. (Weiss) Yetter, whom he married on May 17, 1964; one daughter, Debra Derr and her husband, Ronald Derr and one sister, Bonnie Adams with her husband, Jim Adams, of Lewistown. Gordon Retired from AVCO (Textron) where he worked as a draftsman for many years. Gordon loved to work with wood and made beautiful furniture and cabinetry for himself and others. He was an avid Penn State Football fan who attended a number of games with his brothers when they were younger and enjoyed games on the TV when they could no longer attend the games live.
