Obituary: Justin Cassamajor, 65, Of Stamford

Justin Cassamajor passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 65. He was born in Anse-A-Veau, Haiti on October 18, 1955 to Idelcia Cassamajor and the late Roselin Cassamajor. Justin completed his primary education at Ecole Des Frères De Saint Anges in Anse-a-Veau, followed by secondary school at Lycee Toussaint in Port-Au-Prince. In November 1980, Justin migrated to America in search of a better life for himself and his extended family and settled in Stamford, Connecticut. Justin made many sacrifices and worked tirelessly to make it possible for his mother, daughter, brothers and sisters to migrate to America. This was followed by the migration of his siblings extended families to include his brother-in-law; sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Eden Benoit, 61, long term Fairfield County resident of both Norwalk and Stamford, CT, entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Stamford Hospital, after fighting valiantly through a complicated illness. Subscribe Eden was born on April 8, 1959 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Lucianie Icart and Crefils Benoit, who predeceased his son on March 5, 2010. Eden spent his early childhood in Haiti, with his mother and sister, Ingrid Benoit Louis, where he attended St Jean Evangelist School until he immigrated to the U.S. Growing up in Haiti for the first 12 years of his life, Eden enjoyed playing soccer, marbles and spending time with his cousins and friends.

Margaret Lena Costello of Stamford, CT passed away surrounded by her family on the morning of Monday, February 22, 2021 after a short but very difficult battle with cancer. She was 78 years old. Lena was born on May 16, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Theodore Ellerkamp and Dorothea Gussmann. She attended Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia and received her nursing certificate from St. Agnes School of Nursing. She then received her B.S. in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University. She was part of the first graduating class of nursing students from Penn State. Subscribe In 1963, she met her husband, Charles F. Costello, in Philadelphia while he was on leave from the U.S. Navy. They married on June 15, 1968. The couple moved to Boston where she took a job as the Pediatrics instructor at Children s Hospital Boston.
