Linde Engineering America said May 27 it will work with chemical company BASF to develop a pilot project to capture CO
2 from a power plant in Illinois.
Linde said it was selected by the US Department of Energy to install and test a project at a power plant in Illinois that could store as much as 200 tons of CO
2 per day.
“The successful construction and operation of this plant will provide a means to demonstrate an economically attractive and transformational capture technology,” the company said. ....
