Anonymous Arizona voters claim elections invalid; ask to take office


A group of anonymous Arizona voters
billing themselves as We the People has filed a special action with the state’s highest court asking it to overturn and oust officials elected in the elections of 2018 and 2020, citing what it deems improper certification of the elections systems and machines involved.
In place of the officeholders, the group proposes to the court that the members of the group, who filed without using their names, temporarily fill the vacated seats and run the government.
The pleading filed on Friday asks for the Arizona Supreme Court to take up the matter within five days. ....

Arizona Citizens File Lawsuit Against State Officials, Allege Past Elections Didn’t Comply With State Law
A group of 20 Arizona citizens filed a lawsuit to the state Supreme Court on May 6 seeking a writ of quo warranto against a number of state officials, alleging that state elections from 2018 through 2020 weren’t in compliance with Arizona law.
The court is being asked to order the state officials named in the complaint to be removed from the allegedly unlawfully held seats, and order a pro-tempore (“for the time being”) seat to the citizens who filed the suit, “until such time as free, fair, and secure elections can be held.” ....
