WOODBURY, Minn. A 17-year-old East Ridge High School student died in a car accident Saturday, March 13, according to Woodbury police.
Garrett Bumgarner died in the crash, while four other students in the vehicle Connor Bro, Jack Mears, Andrew McKevitt and an unidentified boy were injured. All of the boys were 17 and attending East Ridge High School.
At 11 p.m. Saturday, a 2015 Honda Accord veered off of Settlers Ridge Parkway at Sundance Lane in Woodbury. The car hit a tree, and the force of the impact split the car in two.
