A man whose charges were dismissed after he was originally accused in the killing of a South Jersey resident has filed a federal lawsuit claiming police knew from the beginning that he was innocent and that they lied to the grand jury that indicted him.
Jamar D. Johnson and Joseph T. Robinson, both of Penns Grove, were charged with manslaughter in the death of 47-year-old Dennis Prasch in 2018. An argument led to the assault, which occurred in the borough, and Prasch later died of his injuries. ....
