KOTA KINABALU: A former Basel Church member staged a solo protest outside the church where he used to serve as a sign of dissatisfaction over his removal as an ordinary member recently. The man, in his 60s, who was wearing a white shirt and a white cloth tied to his head, had prepared a white banner with angry messages written in red ink and spread it across the road outside the church in Likas near here. His action had temporarily blocked traffic, which prompted some road users and church members to alert the police.
