Wonderful Way to Remember Belmont NH Man, Random Acts of Kindness
Jake Deware was a special guy. He was really only 20 when he passed away following a dirt bike accident. Needless to say, his family was devastated. His mother Jennifer Deware tells WMUR.com of her son, “They said that Jake poured a gallon of life into a pint jar, and that’s true.” The family has found a way of remembering and honoring Jake with the Jake Deware Kindness Project. The way it works is that people perform random acts of kindness and leave a card with Jake’s name on it in the wake of their kind act. This way, Jake lives on, spreading acts of kindness throughout the world. ....

The teams ran two runs of giant slalom in the morning and then two runs of slalom in the afternoon amidst falling snow. For the Belmont boys in the morning giant slalom, Tanner McKim led the way with a time of 1:04.48 for 12th place. ....
Belmont girls take a pair from Winnisquam Sports Editor - Salmon Press Newspapers February 11, 2021TILTON The Winnisquam and Belmont girls hoop teams met up for a pair of games last week, with the Raiders coming out with a 41-30 win on Thursday, Feb. 4, in Belmont and then a 47-16 win the following night in Tilton. The first game saw the two teams separated by just a point after one half, with Belmont up 18-17. However, the Raiders pulled away in the second half and secured the win. We really got ourselves in foul trouble in the first half, with both our bigs having three fouls each, said Winnisquam coach Mark Dawalga. Give Belmont credit, they played well. ....
