Damage from the fire was minor and the building is expected to re-open Friday

BELTON, Texas An small overnight fire at Bell County s Belton Annex Office has closed the building on Thursday.
The Belton Fire Department responded to the small fire that began shortly before midnight Thursday morning. Officials said that the damage from the fire was minor and limited to one of the offices and was caused by an electrical short in a personal fan.
The office is being ventilated and is expected to re-open on Friday.
