India’s first hosp with 4 robotic surgical systems inaugurated in Pune city Pune Mirror / Updated: Jul 4, 2021, 06:00 IST Sharad Pawar launches Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday inaugurated the country’s first surgical super speciality hospital with four robotic surgical systems and state-of-the-art facilities for advanced treatment at Senapati Bapat Road in the city. The Lokmanya HSS is a 104-bedded hospital spread over a 47,623 square feet area having the latest technological advancements. Lauding the medical fraternity, NCP supremo Pawar said, “Pune is well-known for education, IT and now medical services. We need many such hospitals to help patients lead a healthy life, reduce mortality and morbidity rates. We appreciate Dr Narendra Vaidya and his entire team for starting a well-equipped hospital in Pune with all essential facilities and cutting-edge technology for the benefit of patients.” ....
Apprentice lawyer killed in road accident in Feni Star Digital Report Star Digital Report An apprentice lawyer was killed in a road accident in Feni s Lalpur area on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Md Mohiuddin, 32, resident of Belgaon village under Banskhali upazila in Chattogram, our Feni correspondent reports quoting Md Jashim Uddin, sub-inspector of Mohipal Highway Police outpost. He was an apprentice lawyer of Chattogram district court. The accident took place at around 5:00pm when the lawyer lost control of his motorcycle and hit another vehicle before crashing on the highway, said the SI, adding that he sustained critical injuries in the accident. ....
