After nearly all spring and summer events were canceled or moved to virtual platforms last year because of the pandemic, many Waldo County events are returning this year and some new events are also coming to the area. Harbor Fest, planned by the Belfast Rotary Club, is returning to the Belfast waterfront in August, but with coronavirus protocols in place. Event organizer Duke Marston said he thinks people are looking for safe outdoor events this summer and he wants the Harbor Fest to be that event for people. ....
