According to the Louisiana Department of Health, 1,632,376 people across the state have received at least their first dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines or received the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The state says 1,447,591 people have been fully vaccinated. That s over 31 percent of the state s population. As of Thursday, 2,973,879 total doses have been administered in Louisiana. Posted on 2 min read The Council of Ministers today agreed to authorise the third Agreement of the European Commission for the acquisition of Pfizer / BioNtech vaccines against COVID-19, thanks to which Spain will receive about 94 million doses for the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.
On May 7, the European Commission reached an agreement to acquire 900 million new doses of vaccine against COVID-19 with the pharmaceutical company Pfizer / BioNTech. This is the third acquisition agreement with this company and is intended for the vaccination campaigns of 2022 and 2023. Specifically, Spain will receive 93,960,000 doses, 10.44% of the total, as has been established according to the population quota. Deliveries will be made in three tranches: 6,264,000 in December 2021, 40,716,000 between January and June 2022; and 46,980,000 between January and June 2023. ....
