But restaurants will now be able to reopen indoor dining Feb. 1 with restrictions, such as operating at 25% capacity and a 10 p.m. curfew. Gretchen Whitmer announced Jan. 22 that a new order governing indoor dining at restaurants during the pandemic will go into effect at the beginning of February. The order, which goes into effect Feb. 1, states that restaurants and bars will be allowed to open at 25% capacity with up to 100 people. Tables must be 6 feet apart with no more than six people allowed per table, and outdoor tents with four sides will be permitted under these rules. Bars and restaurants must close by 10 p.m., and ....

Berkley’s DDA started in December its MerriMonth campaign, featuring several events meant to gather participation from residents and businesses. This includes a Holiday Window Display contest, which runs until Jan. 18. Participating businesses are decorating their windows and residents can visit downtown Berkley’s Facebook page and vote in the photo album. ....
