Sarah Ferguson, 60, has already published several children s books but the Duchess of York has now turned her hand to writing for adults and penned a debut novel. Fergie s first book for adults is titled Her Heart for a Compass and will be published by Mills & Boon later this year.

The Duchess of York has signed a book deal with British publisher Mills & Boon – which has engrossed readers with tales of love for more than 100 years. The historical book is called “Her Heart For A Compass” and is set for release this summer. Fergie, 61, says she drew on many parallels from my life when writing her debut novel.

Sarah, known among friends, fans and family as Fergie, is gearing up for the publication of her first historical novel, which details the fictional story of one of her ancestors who travels the world and falls in love during her journey. And news she would step into the world of novels for adults after having become an established writer of memoirs and children s books has set royal watchers and commentators into a frenzy.

Sunday Times Royal Correspondent Roya Nikkhah joined acting host Ranvir Singh to update her on the Duchess of York s recent activity. Earlier today, the Duchess of York gave royal fans a glimpse inside her festively-decorated home. Sarah, who was previously married to Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, read a story on her YouTube channel. The book was The Most Wonderful Gift in the World by Mark Sperring.
