BELLEAIR â Three candidates are vying for two at-large Town Commission seats in the March 9 election. Commissioner Michael Wilkinson will become mayor; he ran unopposed to replace Mayor Gary Katica, who is retiring after more than 20 years in public service in the city. One candidate will fill Wilkinsonâs seat. The other winner will replace Deputy Mayor Karla Rettstatt, whose term is ending.
