Or after getting over the shock that a Michael Powell-directed episode of The Defenders exists (with a great cast to boot!), to be shocked once more when you revealed that there is also an Alexander Mckendrick-directed Defenders epsiode (with an equally solid cast, I might add!). I have assembled a pretty decent Powell and Pressburger collection via Criterion over the last few years and love the Ealing Studios comedies and have been gradually growing my collection of such releases via Kino and Film Movement. ....
