Ezra Gershanok used his thesis to create a demand curve and find the optimal price for the Keyper phone wallet, a product he and his roommate designed to prevent losing room keys.
Gershanok (senior-economics) said he wrote the thesis for entrepreneurs because he said many tend to âguess [optimal product] pricesâ and miss out on profits.
His goal was âto bring the tools of an economist to an entrepreneur that otherwise didnât have the background in economics, the time or the resources to hire an economist to figure out their optimal price.â
