Firefighters rescue 3 from roof in 3-alarm Bethlehem blaze

No one was reported injured, Chief Warren Achey said at the scene.
The first call to 911 came in at 7:16 p.m. for 524 W. Broad St. in West Bethlehem, according to a Northampton County dispatch supervisor.
Achey said he believes the three people who were rescued were working on the roof.
“It sounds like there was some work going on on the roof, we don’t know if that’s the cause of it yet,” he told lehighvalleylive.com. “But there was work going on on the roof. The firefighters rescued three people off the top of the roof.” ....
