TAMPA Joggers discovered dozens of dead fish along Tampa s Bayshore Boulevard early Tuesday morning.
It s not clear whether the dead fish are related to the general red tide outbreak or the aftermath of the Piney Point spill in lower Tampa Bay. There are reports of medium to high concentrations
We were seeing (fish) washing up along Bayshore this morning. WFLA-TV reporter Beth Rousseau said on Facebook from the intersection of Bayshore and Harborview. She says they were first tipped off around 1 a.m., sent a photographer out in the wee hours, only to see conditions worsen during the day. ....
