After the second round of the 2021 LPGA Professionals National Championship presented by Voice Caddie,
Alisa Rodriguez (Austin, Texas) leads the way at -4. Four players sit tied for second at -2: first-round leader
Allie Knight (Knoxville, Tenn.),
Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth (Fleming Island, Fla.), and
Sandra Changkija (Kissimmee, Fla.). A total of 33 players made the cut at 17-over par.
Rodriguez, a PGA Professional who works as the lead instructor at Balcones Country Club, came into day two in a tie for third. She recorded two birdies and two bogeys on the front nine but fired a 3-under 32 on the back to take the lead. “I was hitting the ball really well,” said Rodriguez. “I’ve been hitting my irons really good the past couple of weeks. O’Neal Repeats As The Wells Fargo Cup Champions
The O’Neal School has won the NCISAA 2A Wells Fargo Cup Champions for the second consecutive awarding year.
The Wells Fargo Cup is awarded annually to the top athletic program across North Carolina. Schools win the award in each division based on points earned throughout the academic school year.
The O Neal varsity track and field teams celebrate a first-place and runner-up finishes at the Tri-TAC conference championships in April. The boys claimed the conference title, while the girls finished in second.

Amy Bockerstette captured the heart of the nation after the video of her playing a practice hole with Gary Woodland at the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open went viral. Since then, the world has been able to celebrate with Amy as she continues to make history.
In high school, Amy became the first person with Down syndrome to compete in the Arizona High School Girls Golf Division I State Championship. When Amy joined the golf team at Paradise Valley Community College in 2018, she became the first person with Down syndrome to earn a collegiate athletic scholarship. And as of this morning, Amy is the first person with Down syndrome to compete in ANY national collegiate athletic championship. ....
