The Thanks Badge honors an individual whose ongoing commitment, leadership, and service have had an exceptional, measurable impact on meeting the Key Priority goals of Girls Scouts Heart of Michigan or the entire Girl Scout Movement and is separate from service previously awarded. Henton, a lifetime member of Girl Scouts, has served on the GSHOM Board of Trustees since 2008, having served six terms as an officer. She serves on the Member Advisory Committee and acts as an effective mentor to National Delegates.
