Virginia gas prices are up the smallest of margins over the past week, averaging $2.10/g today, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 4,081 stations.
Prices here in the valley straddle the average, with some stations in the Harrisonburg area at $2.05/g while others in Broadway and Timberville are at $2.15/g.
Overall, gas prices in Virginia are 4-cents per gallon higher than a month ago, but 29-cents less than they were a year ago.
Petroleum Analyst Patrick De Haan says average gasoline prices continue to move higher, following the rising price of crude oil which remains near the highest level since COVID-19 began in March. ....
