Throughout her four years at McMurry University, Josephine Woytas has worn many hats. And a tiara. She s been a cheerleader, almost from the moment she stepped foot on campus her freshman year. And a reporter for the school s newspaper, which this year morphed into her serving as editor. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native served as an organizer for new-student orientation and led her social club, Gamma Sigma. And her crown came this year when she was named Miss McMurry during the COVID-19-affected homecoming weekend. With her sights set on law school at either Baylor or Texas Tech universities, she transformed over her stay in Abilene from an unwilling, uninterested visitor to becoming one of the most popular students at the school. ....
