Serpent River First Nation artist's work featured in national billboard campaign

An Indigenous artist from Serpent River First Nation is participating in a national billboard campaign to raise awareness about residential schools.

Isaac Murdoch (Bomgiizhik)’s rendering of an old pictograph is one of nine pieces of original Indigenous artwork featured in Artists Against Racism’s The Honour Project.
The artwork is being displayed on digital billboards donated by Pattison Outdoor in cities, over major highways, and on monitors and digital wall screens in subway systems, malls, and transit shelters across the country until August.
The Honour Project has two digital billboard locations in Greater Sudbury – at Lasalle Boulevard and St. Jerome Street in New Sudbury and at Brady Street and Elgin Street downtown. ....
