Bedford Animal Control provides safety tips for wild animal interactions COURTESY OF BEDFORD ANIMAL CONTROL Animal Control Officer Mike Leskouski would like to inform residents about a recent bear sighting reported by residents and share tips for avoiding aggressive behavior from any wild animal. On April 17, a bear sighting was reported on Fayette Road in Bedford. There was no interaction between the animal and any residents in the area. Bears and other wild animals, such as bats, turkeys and sick animals can be dangerous and Bedford Police Department would like to encourage all residents to avoid interacting with them.
