Digimon, Legend of Korra Voice Actor Philece Sampler Has Died Accomplished voice actor and television actor Philece Sampler has died. She reportedly suffered a heart attack in her home in Los Angeles on July 1, 2021. Sampler voiced a wide variety of characters across anime and video game series such as Digimon, The Legend of Korra. According to author Peggy Webb‘s Twitter account, Philece Sampler died unexpectedly at her home. Journalist Nelson Aspen elaborated via a heartfelt Instagram post that the cause of death was a heart attack. In memory of Sampler, Aspen described the actor as a generous and dedicated professional. ....
LLANDRINDOD Wells residents are being urged to pick the name of a new building in town that will be used as a multi-use sustainability hub for a range of community projects. The former Worth Your Salt burger restaurant on the corner of South Crescent and Middleton Street will be refurbished, refitted and reused this spring as the home of Llandrindod’s new Repair and Reuse Cafe, community lending library and co-working space. Local residents have been asked to submit their names for the new space and are now being asked to vote on the final name, from a choice of four. The four choices are The Hub, The Hive, The Corner and The Base and you can go to the Llandrindod Wells Working Together Facebook page to cast your vote. ....

Genevieve High School graduate, who edited the school newspaper, the Mike, he then served in the military in Vietnam. Coalter stayed in Cape Girardeau after getting a BS in business administration at Southeast Missouri State University in 1976. He became a business leader in the community, starting successful insurance and printing businesses, and was a leading force in the redevelopment of downtown Cape Girardeau. He was one of six founding members of Old Town Cape, Inc. “His commitment to the community was evident by his drive to see the downtown area thrive,” a Sept. 7, 2019 tribute by Old Town Cape said of Coalter. ....
Legislation that would deny food assistance to parents who have not been cooperating with the stateâs efforts to collect child support is getting another airing-out after being vetoed in 2019. The bill, brought by Billings Republican Rep. Frank Fleming, was sharply criticized Thursday by a succession of single mothers, advocacy group lobbyists and other opponents as endangering already vulnerable women in poverty while yielding minimal cooperation with child support in other states that have enacted similar laws. âI think it is especially cruel that a bill such as this would be introduced during a pandemic, when instead of finding ways to kick people off of assistance, we should be finding ways to help them,â Danielle Vazquez, with Indigenous Organizers Collective of Montana, told the House Human Services Committee. ....
