Orla Clancy and her husband Sean run Clanwood Organic Farm in Cloghan and set up the Organic Kitchen, using a custom-built trailer to bring their produce to events like the Tullamore Show and Electric Picnic. ....

Wednesday’s article stated: “Local company loses out as Eamon Ryan’s nephew wins major Bord na Mona contract.” The article, and related social media posts, said there was “significant outrage” in the midlands over the situation. On Wednesday s programme on RTE 1, people from the area took to the airwaves to defend Pat Barrett who set up the bike rental in Lough Boora 11 years ago. Pat set up the business from scratch but after a tendering process last year, the license has been given to Phoenix Bikes, a company run by Dublin footballer Conal Keaney.
