Staff writer STEUBENVILLE Trauma-certified therapists are now available at the Sacred Heart Center of Hope to counsel individuals who need help coping with upheaval in their lives. The Center of Hope is now officially open and serving the community, capping several years of renovations and planning. Located at 430 Slack St., Steubenville, the Center of Hope will provide counseling services to children and adults “in need of hope and healing.” “To this point, there hasn’t been a mental health treatment center offering trauma-specific treatment services in the Ohio Valley,” said Rose Raveaux, Center of Hope executive director. “Our mission is to help those needing support in processing trauma through traditional counseling services, as well as Catholic counseling from a faith-based healing perspective.” ....
