Pucmm presenta conferencia Nueva Visión Política de la Mujer

La Escuela de Comunicación de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) presentó este jueves la conferencia magistral “Nueva Visión Económica y Política de la Mujer”, una charla sobre la inclusión, participación y empoderamiento de la mujer en la economía y política dominicana.
La conferencia estuvo a cargo de la senadora por el Distrito Nacional, Faride Raful y la periodista Edith Febles, quienes abordaron el acoso laboral, las oportunidades, y condiciones en las que convive la mujer en su rol social, familiar y personal.
“Me preocupa que nuestro país no tengan los instrumentos para que las mujeres trabajen un sistema seguro e igualitario”, expresó Edith Febles, una de las conferencistas que se refirió a la de equidad de escenarios para la mujer en su entorno de trabajo y su participación en la misma. ....

May 2020. 14 months on, it is time to take stock. The Report presented a policy
matrix which identified issues and actions in the following areas: Social
Empowerment and Safety Nets: Food Security and Agriculture; Macro-Economic
Management; Trade and Investment; Infrastructure; Technology; Labour; Finance;
and Policy Coordination. Some of the recommendations
