Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India announced a voluntary recall for one of its recent launches on Friday. Yep, the Honda H ness CB350 has been recalled in India as part of the company s efforts to address an issue with the bike s transmission. A rather unfortunate development for a new launch, this is expected to take a toll on the bike s performance in the market, which is retailed in the country via the two-wheeler manufacturer s BigWing chain of premium dealerships. But more about the recall first the company says that models manufactured between 25 November and 12 December, may have been affected by the issue. Following the success of the Honda H ness CB350 retro cruiser bike in India, the two-wheeler manufacturer decided to expand the range with a brand new model, Honda CB350 RS, last month. While the Japanese motorcycle maker did launch the bike in India at ₹1.96 lakh (ex-showroom), it had yet to start its deliveries. Well, that s changed too now the company has announced it has commenced customer deliveries of its new scrambler motorcycle in the country. Based on the same platform as the H ness CB350, the CB350 RS made-in-India Honda CB350RS is retailed via Honda s premium dealerships - BigWing Topline and BigWing.

What s also interesting is the fact that this milestone has been achieved in a little over three months since the bike was launched in India.
