A woman who was drunk and then abusive towards police trying to help her has been told to do unpaid work.
Kimberley Fraser (37) was too ill to appear personally at Inverness Sheriff Court after being arrested and a video link was arranged because she was frequently being sick.
After being sentenced to a total of 175 hours of unpaid work, Fraser, who previously lived in Dingwall and now has an address in Friars Street, Inverness, was told to go straight to New Craigs Hospital on her release to âdry outâ. ....

A north psychiatric ward has been told to boost its staffing levels and offer a better range of treatments and activities for patients.
The Mental Welfare Commission For Scotland (MWC) has released its findings following a visit to the Willows Ward at New Craigs Hospital in Inverness.
