Correction: An earlier version of this report incorrectly identified the intersection of the traffic crash. The correct intersection is Main Street and Columbia Avenue. TRAFFIC LIGHTS RESTORED: Traffic signals at the intersection of Main Street and Columbia Avenue in Emmett Township were disabled Wednesday morning in a traffic crash, according to the Emmett Township Department of Public Safety. Crews from the City of Battle Creek Signal Division and the Michigan Department of Transportation worked  with temporary stop signs at the intersection. The signal was restored by around 3:30 p.m. Emmett Township police reported the crash at 7:27 a.m. when an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and hit a westbound vehicle and one of them crashed into a pole, dropping the traffic signals to the pavement.
