A flood of international cash is looking to invest in London property
China is leading a £46bn race for trophy London offices this year as international investors bet on Brexit Britain, new research shows.
Agent Knight Frank’s latest study of the capital’s commercial property market shows buyers in China and Hong Kong as the biggest potential investors, with some £12.8bn earmarked to spend in London this year.
The targeted spend is up from £40bn in 2019 after the threat of a hard-left Labour government led by Jeremy Corbyn was ended by a Conservative landslide, while the UK also averted the potential disruption of no-deal Brexit.  ....
