The business has transferred to majority shareholder, CEO and founder Laurna Woods and her leadership team of Elspeth Brown, Joanne Spence, Rachel Gladwin and Chris Gilmour. Woods confirmed that the entire client book, agency personnel, office network in the UK, Ireland and Canada and the suite of Only boutiques are included in the acquisition which sees founder Gordon Beattie exit the business after 35 years. It emerged that Pontins had drafted a blacklist of “undesirable guests”, explicitly to stop Mincéirí from staying at its resorts after a whistleblower contacted the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
