Austria first loosened its third coronavirus lockdown three weeks ago despite stubbornly high infections, arguing that the economic, social, and psychological effect of keeping all of its restrictions in place would have been too great. Non-essential shops, schools, hairdressers, and museums are now open but restaurants, bars, hotels, and theaters are not. The steakhouse is teaming up with Madame Tussauds wax museum to fill the empty seats while also encouraging social distancing among those in attendance. Gov. Andrew Cuomo permitted indoor dining to increase in the city from 25% to 35% beginning Friday. The famous figures will be dining in through Monday.
