8,000 Gallons of Milk Spilled in Semi Crash

There’s no other way to start this article other than asking: Got milk? In all seriousness, last month in
North Dakota, a semi truck hauling a tanker full of milk ended up in the ditch about four miles south of the city of Wing. To make matters worse, the tanker was hauling around 8,000 gallons of milk, and its entire contents were spilled onto the roadway following the wreck.
This was the result of the
semi overturning after hitting the ditch. After a few rolls, the semi landed back on its wheels, but the trailer ended up laying on its side. 38-year-old Orlando Nieves was the driver of the truck, and he was working for White Rock Express of Towner. The crash was severe enough to give the commercial driver some pretty serious injuries, but he was promptly transported to Bismarck Hospital once the ....

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a car near Mandan, North Dakota on Friday.
A man driving a Ford Taurus was turning left and crossing the motorcycle’s lane of traffic on the Memorial Highway, where the collision occurred. The motorcyclist, Theodore Heidrich, was transported to a Bismarck Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Ford Taurus, Ronald Newman, was not injured.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. ....

Mary Jo Bergman died December 17, 2020 in Detroit Lakes, MN. Mary Jo Bergman was born January 17, 1943, in minus 40-degree weather, at St. Lukes Hospital, in Fargo, ND. She graduated from Argusville High School and went on to receive her radiology degree, nursing degree with a master’s in nursing education and management at University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. She was employed by Bismarck Hospital, Heart View treatment center in Mandan, ND, and at Sanford in Fargo ND. She married Gabriel Pflipsen in 1967 and had three boys, Bob, Bill and Brian. They were her joy. She also enjoyed many trips abroad and her many friends that she loved so much. She is survived by her son Brian, brother Bob, and sister Marsha. Nephews; Rob, Tony, Tj, and niece Cari and Steve (Heidi) Pflipsen. She was preceded in death by a sister Janie Guy. She will be placed next to her boys Bob, and Bill at St. Marys of the Lakes, Detroit Lakes. No funeral is planned. A special thanks to H ....
