Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) has released a statement following the death of Baseball Hall of Famer Henry “Hank” Aaron. The Atlanta Braves icon died Friday morning. Just a few weeks earlier, Aaron and several civil rights leaders received the COVID-19 vaccine at the medical school. In a written statement, MSM says its medical school community is deeply saddened by Aaron’s passing, sending condolences to his family, and explained that his death was not related to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
