Comal County officials reported 39 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the county s total to 9,475. The county s death toll since the beginning of the pandemic remained at 302. Atascosa County Total number of cases: 5,473 Hospitalizations: N/A Recoveries: 5,290 Atascosa County is south of San Antonio and includes Pleasanton and Jourdanton. It has an estimated population of about 51,153. Bandera County Total number of cases: 1,294 Hospitalizations: N/A Recoveries: 1,258 Bandera County is west of San Antonio and includes Bandera and Lakehills. It has an estimated population of about 23,112. ....
After nearly a year of remote learning, students returned to Tri-Valley classrooms today. Seen here at Alisal Elementary School in Pleasanton on the first day back, some students are seated in class while others dial in through Zoom. The children are currently on an am/pm hybrid schedule. Per county guidelines, the primary grades were permitted to return while the region is still in the purple tier. Grades six through 12th may only return once Alameda County reaches the red tier. Pleasanton police arrest 25 suspects in operation ‘Crystal Cowboy’ Officials say more arrests are expected in this case Updated: Tags: (file) (KPRC via Pixabay) PLEASANTON, Texas – The Pleasanton Police Department announced this week that an investigation dubbed “Operation Crystal Cowboy” resulted in the arrests of 25 suspects. According to officials, the department and 81st District Attorney’s Office began a eight-month-long investigation into the street leveling trafficking of meth and heroin in the city of Pleasanton. “This month an Atascosa County Grand Jury indicted a total of 26 individuals on over 30 separate charges involving the distribution of approximately 204 grams of methamphetamine and 11 grams of Heroin in and around the Atascosa County area,” the department said in a statement on Facebook. ....
