EUGENE, Ore. Despite being in the middle of a court battle with some residents in North Eugene, WinCo is signaling they are starting construction on a new store off Coburg Road.
Fences were put up around the old Shopko building, dumpsters were moved in, and a mobile office was dropped off in the parking lot. KEZI reached out to WinCo s corporate offices about the activity at the site, but they did not get back to us. However, this is a sign the company is starting construction of their new store, approved by the Eugene City Council in 2020.
