ICC conducts online talk show for students

Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted the first in the series of online talk shows through ICC Student’s Forum, on Friday, June 3, 2021.
The function was inaugurated by ICC President P N Babu Rajan. He informed that the main aim is to provide a platform to the students to clear their doubts related to education and career through renowned academicians and provide them with proper knowledge and direction.
Renowned academician Principal A P Sharma, Principal, Birla Public School, answered the queries and questions raised by students thereby guiding them information on many scholarships and other opportunities and clearing their doubts with his vast knowledge and experience. Session was very informative and was highly appreciated by all.
BPS organises virtual Chess tournaments

Doha: Birla Public School (BPS) has organised an online series of Chess tournaments for its all grade-school students.
School Principal A P Sharma inaugurated the tournament on its opening day. Vice-Principal, Rajesh Pillai helped to motivate the students and encourage the Little Grandmasters.
The tournament for Grade I and II was held on May 20. It is consisted of 7 rounds. The 1st place was bagged by Vaishnav Ashok Kumar; 2nd place went to Oliver Joseph; 3rd place was won by Rajesh Chinta and 4th place went to Sindhudevi Ravikumar. All winners are from Grade II.

Doha: The Music and Dance Department at Birla Public School (PBS) recently conducted a music workshop on the topic ‘Performance Preparation’.
The workshop commenced with the welcome speech by Marshal D’ Silva, HoD Music and Dance Department. Principal, A P Sharma in his address congratulated the Music and Dance Department for conducting the workshop and expressed his views regarding the benefit and explained the importance of music in our day to day life.
Rajesh Pillai, Vice Principal in his speech explained the different co-scholastic activities happening in the school and urged students to take maximum benefit out of these kind of events by participating regularly and in large numbers.
