MILLER – 14 made three-pointers helped the Lower Brule Sioux to their second-ever state tournament berth Tuesday in a Class B SoDak 16 80-72 win over Potter County at the Miller Armory.
Keshaume Thigh led the Sioux (16-7) with 24 points, Brian LaRoche Jr. had 23 and Gavin Thigh scored 20.
Potter County (19-4), which had its 13-game winning streak snapped, was led by the 30 points of Grant Luikens.
Lower Brule will meet top seed De Smet in the first round of the Class B state tournament on Thursday, March 18 at noon at the Barnett Center on the Northern State University campus in Aberdeen.
