MANSFIELD - The former Spitzer Dodge dealership will be demolished soon to make way for a convenience store/gas station called Friendship Kitchen.
The property at 744 Park Avenue West transferred to new owners Thursday for $428,000, according to records at the Richland County Auditor s Office.
Friendship Kitchen was granted a conditional use permit on Oct. 27 for new construction of a gas station with convenience store at the site, according to Mansfield City Planning Commission minutes. The property is zoned B-2.
According to the Auditor s Office, the seller, Spitzer Hardware Supply, sold numerous parcels totaling 1.9 acres at the site to Buckeye Investment NWO, whose mailing address is Fremont.
