GPs should create reserve lists of patients who can attend vaccine appointments at short notice in order to avoid wastage , according to leaked NHS guidance.

LOCAL NHS leaders are forcing doctors to throw away Covid vaccines rather than give second doses, a report has revealed. 
GPs organising clinics at short notice told the Telegraph that they are being warned against using leftover doses on patients who have already had their first jab.

While some are reportedly refusing to comply, others fear vaccine supplies will be cancelled if they defy instructions. 
Dr Robert Morley, the director of professional support at the Birmingham Local Medical Committee, told the Telegraph the policy was “counterproductive”.  ....

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 21, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (NASDAQ: PEIX), a leading producer of specialty alcohols and essential ingredients, announced an amendment to the terms of its credit agreements with CoBank, ACB (CoBank).
The Company, with its borrower subsidiaries, Pacific Ethanol Pekin, LLC and Illinois Corn Processing, LLC paid $24.9 million in connection with the amendments, repaying all term debt and reducing the borrowers’ revolving lines of credit to $30 million in total. At the same time, CoBank and the borrowers agreed to reduce certain reporting requirements and eliminate the requirement of the Chief Restructuring Offi ....
